Opening hours during the Easter 2024

Laugaskarð, Hveragerði

The swimming pool was built by volunteers and opened in 1938. For a while it was the biggest swimming pool in Iceland and the Icelandic national team used it for practicing until Laugardalslaug in Reykjavík was opened.

Originally the pool was 25 meters long but is now 50 meters long and 12 meters wide. The water in the pool is heated with the geo thermal heat and that ensures the normal accid level and purity of the water.

The pool has a warm hand shallow childrens pool and a Jacuzzi. There is also a natural steam bath. The pool is located in a beautiful surrounding with a good shelter. There is always a staff on duty and also a cctv system to keep the guests as safe as possible.
