Hellulaug is about 400 meters from the service center at Flókalund. It is possible to drive from the highway onto a parking space. At the end of the parking space is a hole where there used to be a hot spring. From the old hot spring is a rubber hose towards the new hot spring.
There are now dressing rooms so you need to put your clothes on the rocks next to the hot spring. The hot spring is a about 3 x 4 meters large and about 60 cm deep. The tempurature is about 38 °c.
