Lýsulaugar is an extraordinary geothermal bath, filled with naturally hot mineral water. It is rich in green algae (chlorella) and various
minerals and is thought to have a soothing and healing effect on the body. No chemicals, such as clorine, are added to the water.

The pool has a set opening time during summertime

Wintertime
During wintertime the pool is used for students in the local school. When weather permits the pool is open during weekends and opening hours are published on the facebook page.
